Filtering in Pegasus
This section describes how to set up a filter in Pegasus to take advantage of SAproxy.
- In the Pegasus top menu, pull down Tools, go down to Mail filtering rules, and select Rules applied when folder is opened....
- In the New mail filtering rules window that opens, click on the Add rule button on the left side of the tool bar.
- Click on the Expression... button.
- In the If this regular expression text box, type "X-Spam-Flag: YES" (type it exactly that way, without the quote marks, and make sure there is only one space between the colon and the "YES"), select Headers only, and change the Action to Move, and click on the Set... button that is just below Move.
- This will pop up a new window named Select a mail folder. Click on the New... button, name the new folder "Spam", and make sure that Message folder is selected and not Filing Tray. Then, click on the OK button.
- That will create a new folder named Spam in the Select a mail folder window. Double click on Spam. Now, the Parameter setting below the Action setting should read Spam. Click on the OK button.
- Now, click on the Save button to save the new rule and then the Close button to close the New mail filtering rules window.
- Now, incoming spam will automatically go into the Spam folder. You may want to check through it periodically just in case you have any false positives.
